The Clips tab fails to display any clips

This can happen if your device fails Google's "Play Protect" certification checks.

You can see if this is the cause by following the steps below:

  • Launch the "Play Store" app
  • Tap on your profile picture icon (displayed in the top-right corner of the screen)
  • Select "Settings"
  • Select "About"
  • See the text that is displayed below "Play Protect certification"
  • If it doesn't say "Device is certified", tap on the text and then expand the "Device isn't certified" section of the page to see a list of possible causes.
